My belly is not bloating half as much, but I'm eating fiber like crazy & I don't think my digestion is proceeding normally. I still feel funny in the belly after every meal. I thought if I ate well, my gastroparesis would just disappear, but really I knew better than that all along. It comes & goes as it pleases. I'm not sure what to do about it. I've been considering some kind of detox, but I don't want to waste my time, money & energy on something that won't even work. Any ideas of cheap natural detox solutions that really work?
Today I feel:

I don't know much about detox but I do know that swimming and water aerobics are better for the joints. That might be something to consider. It's a great exercise (one of the best there is) and it's low impact. The challenge, however, is finding a swimming pool to exercise in. At least, it usually is for me.
ReplyDeleteA natural detox can be something as simple as avoiding things that are common irritants-- dairy, wheat, corn, citrus, soy, white (regular) sugar, etc. Something like that would probably take a bit more time to kick in than some of the others I've read about (like those juice ones where you buy/make all those pretty colorful juices). I have a cousin with a food blog that features many recipes that work with a detox lifestyle if you are interested: http://thediva-dish.com/baby-food/new-beginning-detox/ that post is the one where she specifically talks about detox, but there are tons of great recipes.
